This page describes the process to request a job from a customer perspective, and what the work process looks like until the job is complete.
- The customer, having a request, reaches out preferrably via email to jobsdonegood@gmail.com and describes the request they have.
- the email should include details about the request like the location or address needing service, the type and size of the job(s), and whether materials (and tools) are already available. Pictures can also be helpful
- The team will respond and collect additional information about the job if it seems too vague.
- The team will respond to the customer with a predicted estimate, which includes and estimated start date, duration, and cost.
- When the customer and team are ready to commit, the job contract is signed. Initial payments are made for the pickup of materials, etc
- The team will followup with progress notes daily until the project is complete.
- In the event that the team predicts they may be unable to complete based on the amount of remaining effort, the team lead will review the next best steps with the team and the customer.
- When the job is complete, the team will review for any scope creep (additional project opportunities outside of the original estimate) and prefare for final payments and/or next project steps.
